Sproson Art Gallery

Since 1981 Sproson Picture Framers have operated a family run, bespoke custom picture framing business in Gregory Place, St Andrews, Fife. Our new venture, Sproson Gallery and Framers, pulls together threads of the family's successful framing business and contacts in the Scottish Contemporary art field. Having worked with a wide and diverse clientele from artists to Museums, we now aim to create an on-going conversation among art works from different genres, with an emphasis on combining emerging and established talent with an exceptional trove of works by local and Scottish artists.

The gallery will mount exhibitions, including solo shows, throughout the year with a price range to cater to every budget and taste. We also offer an eclectic range of ceramics, hand made picture frames, limited edition prints, jewelry and artists cards.

Importantly, the new gallery will retain the traditional aims of the Sproson Brand in offering a variety of art-related services including quality in-house custom framing and design, art consultation and advisory, selected restoration services and installation. All of this is combined with an energetic rotating selection of the finest Contemporary art exhibition programming throughout the year. In the spirit of its founding, and as the Gallery continues to grow, its commitment to excellence and quality will remain unwavering.
